alex and claire

Alex and Claire (check out their Engagement session here) are friends of ours so when they asked me to shoot their wedding I was a little nervous at first as there would be quite a few people we knew there... but as the day approached I was looking forward to it more and more!
Al and Claire got married at Claire's local church with their reception in a marquee conveniently placed in the field next door! Claire looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous Jenny Packham dress and sparkly Jimmy Choo's and all her Bridesmaids looked amazing too wearing the cutest electric blue bridesmaids dresses and cream shoes. The church service was warm and touching (Claire got quite teary!) and after they became Mr and Mrs Milner everyone walked round to the marquee for the party!
Speeches were funny and emotional (both Claire and Alex were about to move over to Hong Kong about a week after they got married) and the food was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! We then partied the night away with a fantastic band (accompanied by Claire on the shakers) and an extremely popular photo booth!
Al and Claire are now in Hong Kong and I know that all their friends and family are missing them a bucket load. They are both the real life and soul of the party and I'm so happy that their wedding was such a fantastic send off.. it was so apparent how loved and how popular they both are. I really hope their wedding photos bring back some fab memories of the day for everyone.

  6. Hello gorgeous wedding dress. And loving the lady all in pink. My favourite of all these shots? The one of the couple dancing and him holding her back and neck. I don't know how you do it, I really don't. Just lovely.

  13. You know, I think you can tell that you know the bride and groom, it adds an extra level of something to your photography. Maybe it's being comfortable around them? I don't know.

Anyway, I think this is your best wedding so far!
