Molly & Phil

Molly and Phil have the cutest 'getting together' story ever. They were born in the same hospital (Victoria Hospital in Blackpool) and went to the same school together aged 6-7 and Molly was the only girl Phil invited to his 7th birthday party! When they were 10 Molly moved to America and Phil moved to Rutland so they lost contact. Years went by but Phil remembered Molly's name and when facebook came along he decided to try and find her! He requested her as a friend, they emailed, they phoned, they talked some more and the rest is history!
I absolutely love that story... and they deserve every bit of happiness as they are just the sweetest, loveliest couple. We had the nicest afternoon, meeting in gorgeous Barnes, South London walking around the little market and along the river and then stopped for some lunch chatting constantly and enjoying the gorgeous sunshine!
I can't wait to shoot their wedding and can't wait to meet Molly's Mum Kat too. Kat emailed me asking for some advice regarding the wedding (being over in America) and we had such a lovely conversation... I think I'm definitely going to get teary at this one!

Zoe & Will

Zoe and Will were my first ever engagement session couple! They were so incredibly lovely and we spent pretty much all day chatting and taking photos and ended up in the pub! The full engagement post can be found here. They were both such an interesting couple and I will go in to a lot more detail when I blog the full wedding but for now here's my sneak peek! I usually sneak peek a photo of the couple but because I've already posted their engagement session I thought I might post something a little bit different. I really love this shot and actually got a bit teary over it...

Yvonne & Dan

I'm shooting Yvonne and Dan's wedding later this year (which I'm very excited about as it involves board games) so we decided to meet up and do a little Engagement session whilst I was in London at the most beautiful Kew Gardens... I love this place, I'd never been and everything is labelled... and I mean everything! What I also love are my couples... Yvonne and Dan arrived with some old cameras, books, bubbles, a picnic and CUPCAKES... home-made cupcakes! Yvonne is one hell of a baker and makes the yummiest cupcakes ever! So the morning was spent taking piccies and then eating cake. Now that is my kind of Sunday.

Steve & Evelyne

What do you say when your mentor, the person who you look up to and admire asks "Would you take some shots of me and the Mrs?". Well I know exactly what I said... "Yeah, cool" and at the same time was internally squealing "Oh dear god please let me not do this for at least another year... at least!" I then for about 2 weeks straight told Steve constantly how scared I was until I think I actually talked myself into being a little bit excited about it :)
Now if you know anything about photography in this country you will of heard of Steve Gerrard Photography. Steve shoots absolutely gorgeous weddings by day and then at night he shoots scary bands and I have the absolute pleasure to be able to call him a friend. Not only has he been ridiculously supportive since all this kicked off for me but we also love a lot of the same photographers, seem to be on the same wavelength and can be just as silly as each other. I am silly proud of being able to take some shots of him and his absolutely stunning wife Evelyne (I couldn't get over Evelyne's eyes!) and I really hope they love them. Oh and a huge congratulations to them both for their soon to be new arrival!!! Thank you Steve.... for absolutely everything.
