This lady has a heart full of love for everyone and yesterday she had a room full of love for her...

It was an absolute honour to photograph Tom and Laura's day.. oh man.. I might cry again..

rachel simpson shoes

Spending the day surrounded by pretty shoes is ace. Spending the day taking pictures of said pretty shoes with a wonderful team is even better. This is the second shoot I've done for the (most lovely, kind, warm and friendly) Rachel Simpson and again I was lucky to work with Makeup by Jodie (the fabulous MUA) and the two loveliest models Lana and Verity. The day was spent giggling, eating coissants and pretty much playing dress up in the most gorgeous Highbury Hall. We also had the wonderful Fur Coat No Knickers, Timeless Couture, Caroline Atelier and The Wedding Club donate stunning dresses and Laurel Lime and Sharper Millinary finished things off beautifully with some gorgeous accessories... I love these shoots... and I love this team too...

kath and ste

Kath and Ste were married at the amazing York Maze. I didn't even know you could get married there but what a venue! The gorgeous barn for the ceremony along with a beautiful reception room and an adventure playground along with a bouncy pillow.. well, what more could you want?!
We started the day at Kath's hotel in York where Kath had the most beautiful wedding dress from my favourite ladies at Fur Coat No Knickers and a beautiful bouquet made by her own fair hands... :)
Arriving at the maze Ste greeted their guests and waited for Kath and her Bridesmaids to make their entrance. After the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks on the decking outside with little kids and some big ones too enjoying the adventure playground and of course, the bouncy pillow...
We then took Kath and Ste out to the field for some couple shots before heading back for some tasty grub and wonderful speeches.
The evening was finished off with an ice cream van and then back to the barn for their first dance and DJ sets from various friends...
It was such a beautiful day with a gorgeous couple at a fantastic venue... we absolutely loved every minute!
