claire and kieran
Claire and Kieran are the sweetest couple... ever! They adore each other and their families and their families adore them right back. I arrived at Claire's in the morning and was made to feel so welcome and with a cup of tea and a turkey sandwich (it was just after Christmas) I felt right at home! There was an element of calm that morning with all 3 ladies (Claire, her Mum and her Sister) in the cutest pyjamas and Claire's Dad had such an amazing look of proudness for his girls that simply shone through...
We made our way to Manchester Town Hall in the most beautiful cream Campervan (I got to sit in the front!) and as we approached I nipped in to take a few pictures of Kieran before the ceremony....
The ceremony room was stunning and as Claire and her (beaming) Dad walked down the aisle everyone looked so happy and the ceremony began with one of the nicest registrars! Readings were given and vows were made and then Mr and Mrs Killough led their guests in to another equally stunning room for drinks...
At this point I grabbed the pair of them and whisked them off for some couple photos! At about 4pm everyone took an old London bus to the reception venue where we were served a warm buffet of Tai Green Curry and/or Lancashire Hot Pot... oh my goodness... it was tasty!
Speeches were funny, emotional and from the heart and a friend of Claire's made the most wonderful wedding cake (I would have been scared to eat it!). The night was finished with lots of dancing and the photo booth and I got quite emotional taking pictures on the dance floor with everyone dancing in pairs and singing Elbow's "One day like this..."
It was an absolute pleasure Claire and Alex Turner... sorry, I mean Kieran... you are the smiliest couple I know!
So, so sweet... Loving the hair, the cake, the pyjamas!
ReplyDeleteRight, love the dress, the back alleys, the Westwood shoes (again), the VW Camper (amazing)... but most of all, the flying insects on the floor. Are they bees or wasps, Em?
