jess and dan
Jess and Dan were married on a lovely May day at their local church in Codsall. The day began at Jess' Mum's house where Jess got ready into her stunning 1950's dress with super cute birdcage veil and bow, little lace gloves and fabulous red lipstick! Her transport in the shape of Herbie the beetle was ready and waiting and we all headed to the church where family, friends and a lot of the local parish were waiting to watch the wedding.
After the ceremony everyone headed to the reception at a venue that surprisingly I'd visited only a few weeks before... The Old Vicarage in Bridgnorth! (The first time we've shot the same venue!) Guests were greeted with a yummy sweetie table and beautifully decorated tables with mason jars and gorgeous flowers. The afternoon was spent listening to speeches, eating gorgeous food (including some gorgeous cakes) and taking the bridal party trekking across a field! I then took Jess and Dan for some couple shots and Dan mentioned a little cricket club down the lane.. when we got there a game of cricket was in full swing but they were so friendly and didn't mind us getting a few shots...
When we headed back guests were playing board games and the Crepe van was warming up ready to dish out some very tasty pancakes!
It was such a lovely day and the love and emotion that was felt between Jess and Dan and both their families was so beautiful to see... it was a real honour to be able to document their special day and we had a lot of fun in the process!
