aneesha and ed {wedding}

I could say 1000 words about Aneesha and Ed's wedding but when I look at the photographs from the day I kind of don't want to say anything at all.  This wedding made me feel, made me look, made me cry and made me fall in love with photography all over again.

Thank you so much Aneesha and Ed and both your wonderful families for letting us be a part of your day.. and thank you a million times over to my wonderful friend Anna Hardy who shot with me.. we were like two peas in a pod that day.. so in sync.. I feel very lucky..

This is what it's all about.

This is part one of the day...

  1. Emma, I'm gobsmacked. This is probably my favourite wedding of yours yet. Not only is the photography itself incredible and moving, your post production is astonishing. *stands and applauds*

  2. Stunning. Captured so beautifully - the emotion is so raw in these photographs and the story told in both a delicate and powerful way (does that make sense?) Just gorgeous.

  3. the colours in a indian/ asian wedding always make me happy. a slovakian friend of mine married a hindu man a few years back and the transformation she undertook in terms of make up and culture in ceremony were so different and beautiful. wonderful photos emma!x

  5. I found this wedding insanely moving. The grandparents and guests with their heads covered, the bride's family sobbing, the little with the yellow trousers drinking the bottle during the ceremony, just a few of the moments that made me catch my breath. Gorgeous work girlies. x

  18. I have only just looked through this amazing wedding properly. Almost crying at the raw emotion in every shot, and I was actually there. So proud to know Aneesha, Ed and their gorgeous families. Was truly a journey of a wedding. And even though I do say so, Emma and Anna have totally blown it out of the water. Their inane ability to see the finer points and take you right into the heart of the experience is phenomenal. Just in awe and so so proud.

  19. These photos are just glorious, it captures the whole day, emotions and the cultures coming together amazingly. You see things others would dismiss and make them beautiful - and this is something no camera or training can buy!
